Before the fun starts we want to make sure all Smoked & Uncut festi-goers are aware of the travel conditions on the day. The safety of Smoked & Uncut attendees is our highest priority, so please read the below carefully before arriving.
Festival Address
Lime Wood
Beaulieu Rd
Lyndhurst
Hampshire
SO43 7FZ
On Foot
Please enter the festival through the hotel's main entrance, and make your way up the main drive and enter though the main festival entrance.
Car Parking
Due to the volume of guests expected, only Hotel Residents will be able to park at the hotel. Festival parking will be available in the field adjacent to the festival and hotel. Please print out your car parking permit and display it on your dashboard when you arrive.
Car parking is only available to those with parking passes.
Parking opens at 11am, with gates opening at 12pm. Please follow the signs and the traffic stewards into the festival car park - they will be on hand to help you get to the festival smoothly and efficiently.
To enter the field car park, follow directions to the hotel, and the festival parking entrance will be to the left of the main drive. Stewards will be on hand to keep the flow of traffic moving. Please note that you will be parking in a farmer's field; therefore, be mindful of bringing vehicles that may not be suitable to drive across the rougher terrain and bring appropriate footwear.
Please note that parking on Beaulieu Road outside the main entrance to Lime Wood is not permitted as parking here presents a huge risk to Smoked & Uncut attendees' safety. Therefore, anyone who parks here will be refused entry to the festival. We will have security staff patrolling the area to monitor any non-authorised parking - this is also part of our commitment to protecting the forest verges. There is absolutely no parking allowed in the local village.
In the interest of the environment and due to limited space, we highly encourage car sharing, hopping in a taxi or getting dropped off at the festival. If arriving by taxi, drop offs will be in the hotel grounds - you will be direct by parking marshalls. Please email info@smokedanduncut.com if you are arriving by minibus or bigger. If you are leaving your car overnight, please collect your vehicle by 11am Sunday 9th July.
Overnight Parking
If you would like to leave your car overnight in the field car park, please email the team at info@smokedanduncut.com with your car reg, name and contact number. Please note that you must collect your vehicle on Sunday 9th July by 11am.
Disabled Parking
Disabled parking will be available closer to the main gate on the day, but this will be significantly limited. We ask that it is requested for those who require a wheelchair only and booked in advance by contacting the team at info@smokedanduncut.com.
Taxi Drop Offs/Pick Ups
There will be a taxi drop off zone in the field car park. Please note that there will be a one-way system in place - This will mean you do not have to walk as far to get into the festival and ensure no build-up of traffic onto the main road. Please note that this zone will also be where taxis must return for pick-ups later in the day. No pick-ups are permitted on the hotel drive, so please direct your taxi driver accordingly.
Minibus and Coach Drop Off/Pick-up
Guests travelling by private bus hire, please be aware that drop off zones at the hotel is limited. There is a lay-by on Beaulieu Road just after the hotel entrance that the driver should be directed to as a first option, pulling out of the way of the traffic on the main road. Alternatively, security staff will direct the driver onto the right-hand fork to the hotel entrance to carefully move the bus out of the way of festival traffic. Guests must leave the vehicle as quickly as possible so that the bus/coach can move on swiftly.
Train & Shuttle Buses
If you are planning to get to the festival by train, the best station for Lime Wood is Brockenhurst Train Station. There will be a free shuttle bus running between Brockenhurst Train Station and The Festival with a pick up from the bus stop at the junction of Lyndhurst High Street and Beaulieu Road running between 11:30am until 11.30pm on a continuous loop, every 20-30 minutes.
Leaving the festival
Minibus and coach pick-ups after the event are the same as the drop off points. For your safety, we suggest that you wait at the entrance of the drive up to the hotel when being picked up until your minibus or coach has arrived. Please note that vehicles are not allowed to wait for you on the main road due to safety concerns. From the festival car park you will leave via the main Hotel driveway and then back onto the Beaulieu road to your final destination.

Make sure that you remember to bring along a copy of your e-ticket or have it open on your phone/tablet so that we can quickly get you scanned in to enjoy the festival as smoothly as possible. An army of WaterAid volunteers will be on-hand to clean the compost loos between uses – so please be kind to them! They will also be raising awareness of how the international charity’s life-saving work across world is helping to lift entire communities out of poverty.
Weather
As we all know, the British weather can be changeable and sunny weather is never guaranteed in an English summer. With this in mind, it may be a good idea to check the weather before you come to bring any necessary items, such as a waterproof coat, sun cream, hats etc. Please be aware that we will not be allowing any structures over 3 feet in height.
Feedback
We want to encourage all festival-goers to feel they can communicate any concerns with us, both before and during the festival. There will be a central Tourist Information at Smoked & Uncut where team members will be on hand to help you answer any queries. If you have any questions now, please email info@smokedanduncut.com.

Reusable Cups
This year at Smoked & Uncut, we’re not just going BIG on music, food, and all the in-betweens to celebrate 10 years of festivals, we’re also going BIG on reducing, reusing and recycling. So, we’ve teamed up with RECUP to protect our fields for future festivals to come.
RECUP will be bringing their trusty reusable cups to both Smoked & Uncut festivals, to help us save over 26,000 single use cups going to waste.
Don’t worry, RECUP won’t get in the way of those festi flowing drinks. We just ask that you pay a refundable deposit of £1.50 per cup on your first drink at any bar, then the cup’s yours for the day to reuse (or swap for a new reusable cup) to your heart’s content! At the end of the festival, or when you’ve finished sipping, return your cup to the cup return point to receive your £1.50 back.
If you forget your cup when you go to get your next drink, the £1.50 will apply again. You can also bring your own cup to use throughout the festival, to save using RECUP reusable cups. Thank you for helping us reduce waste and protect the environment!
Feasting guests
Feasting is now sold out for Angela & Friends! There will be a guest list at the entrance of the feasting which is accessed via the main festival arena.. Please be aware that to be able to accommodate any dietary requirements, we will need to be informed in advance.
If you are attending the 12:30 pm feasting, you will be given early access to the festival site from 11.45 am. For all Angela's & friends feasting table booking, please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booking to enjoy a complimentary arrival drink before being seated.
For all apprentice restaurant sittings, please arrive at the time of your booking.
